Ruth and Richard Witty of Greenfield announce the engagement of their son, Sam Witty, to Katy Winkler. Sam is a graduate student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the computer science program.
Katy is the daughter of Amy McCune, of Ithaca, N.Y., and David Winkler, of Monterey, Calif. Katy is in a graduate program in public policy at Brandeis University in Waltham.
A 2021 wedding is planned.
