DEERFIELD — Voters have elected two new faces to the Planning Board this year.
Denise Mason and Analee Wulfkuhle won the race for two three-year term seats with 557 votes and 477 votes, respectively. They won in Monday’s election against Steven Pistrich, with 111 votes, and incumbent Henry Komosa, with 280 votes. Roger Sadoski received 11 votes.
Francis Sobieski was re-elected to a three-year term on the Board of Assessors over Timothy Hilchey, earning 497 votes and 281 votes, respectively.
According to Town Clerk Barbara Hancock, 21 percent of the town’s 3,811 registered voters turned out for the election, and of those, 70.4 percent voted early by mail. Twenty-eight percent voted in person on election day, and 1.5 percent voted by absentee ballot.
