NORTHFIELD — Nomination papers are now available for those interested in being appointed to the Pioneer Valley Regional School District School Committee.
Paperwork is available from Clerk Joanna Wallace at the Superintendent’s Office within Pioneer, and at the town clerks’ offices in Leyden, Bernardston, Northfield and Warwick.
Wallace said the elections for the School Committee seats will be held in November. To run, paperwork needs to be submitted to the Town Clerk’s Office in the town where the respective candidate lives by July 21.
LEYDEN — The Selectboard has set the dates for Annual Town Meeting and town election.
Annual Town Meeting will be held on June 27 at 9 a.m. outside of Town Hall. There will also be a Special Town Meeting immediately beforehand at 8:45 a.m. to vote on three articles involving the past fiscal year’s business.
Leyden’s town election will be held June 29. Polls will be open from 4 to 8 p.m.
BERNARDSTON — Selectboard members decided during a meeting last week to reopen Town Hall to the public by appointment during Phase 2 of Gov. Charlie Baker’s reopening plan.

BERNARDSTON — The Cushman Library opened for curbside pickup on Saturday.
Patrons can request a title by calling the library at 413-648-5402 or going to cwmars.corg and choosing Bernardston’s catalog in the search parameters.
If you have materials to return, the library is accepting returns during pick-up hours, but the exterior bin remains closed. Twenty-minute appointments are being made for pickup between 2 and 4 p.m. and 4:20 and 5:20 p.m. on Mondays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1:30 to 2:50 p.m. on Saturdays. Bags for pickup will be initialed to distinguish each patron’s materials.
