“Physical distancing” is a better term.
I like it when Dr. Fauci and others recommend “physical” rather than “social” distancing. I think it’s a better description of what’s needed. We need each other to get through this pandemic. We need social connection. We need science to guide our social connections.
So let’s say “physical distancing,” to promote getting through this pandemic. Let the phrase “social distancing” wither and fade away.
Let’s take cautious steps towards a “new normal.”
