On behalf of my staff and I and I’m sure most members of our community – thank you Greenfield Savings Bank for recognizably being the most proactive financial institution in both Franklin and Hampshire counties. For taking the time, initiative and great expense in keeping us informed on almost a daily basis with full page ads on how the bank protects their staff, how to protect ourselves with the use of alternative banking technology and deliver confidence to the businesses that are served by GSB.
I’ve been in the banking industry on and off for over 25 years along as a private business owner. This is what a bank does to convey stability to us and our community.
With John Howland, its president at the helm, a strong board of directors and tremendous staff they did it and continue to do so.
As my company had to cut its advertising budget to almost nothing, GSB also helped the Recorder by placing full page ads which I don’t need to tell you are extremely expensive. We were proud to renew our office delivery subscription to help give the Recorder a boost.
I also want to thank Rebecca Caplice, the bank’s former president, for taking the time to meet with me at her personal residence to give me valued advice and help guide us on the road to full financial recovery for my business from this very unique local and global situation.
