Hospital requests snacks, drinks

GREENFIELD — After receiving an abundance of donations of full meals over the past few weeks, the local “Meal Train” started by Greenfield resident Jess Allen is instead seeking pre-packaged snacks and drinks to be donated to Baystate Franklin Medical Center staff.

Since Baystate Franklin is staffed 24/7, the hospital has requested that individual, pre-packaged snacks and drinks be donated for staff members who are working day shifts, overnight shifts or weekends. The donations will be available to them at all hours.

Anyone looking to donate snacks or bottled drinks can call Baystate Franklin at 413-773-2394 for more information regarding sanitary drop-off.

Additionally, monetary donations can be made to the Baystate Franklin at baystatehealth.org/Give-Now. These donations will help provide personal protective equipment (PPE) and other supplies the employees need.
