The school system in Greenfield has operated for a few years without the Green River School. So why now do you need to add more expenses to the school budget? I might add that every year you add on more and want more tax dollars. Why take on additional expenses such as electric, heating, transportation, custodial, teachers and maintenance? Especially at a time when you want a new library, which in my opinion is way over budget but still need a much needed fire station. How much more do you think the homeowners and taxpayers of Greenfield can afford?
