The church will not hold services over the next few weeks, but Sunday bulletins are being emailed to anyone who wants one. These include links to vocal music selected by Choir Director Margery Heins, and recorded music played by our Music Director Amy Roberts-Crawford. It also includes Minister David Jones’s sermon, plus Scripture readings and prayers. Anyone can receive the email by contacting Wendy Prée, Clerk, at wendypree@gmail.com. ORANGE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH and SOUTH ATHOL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

South Athol and Orange Congregations have contemplated several types of worship for Holy Week that we could open to folks beyond our membership. However, everything that we considered ultimately had the potential for more harm than good.

There is a wealth of worship services available on TV, Facebook, Instagram and more available for public viewing. At South Athol and Orange UMC, we are holding our worship services via ZOOM so that for the most part they can see and hear each other. Unfortunately, because of unknown public abusing the system, we cannot make our invitations public. Our ZOOM worship services will be by invitation only for the protection of our elderly populations in our two churches.

We will have Worship at 9 and 11 a.m. on Palm Sunday.

We will have worship at 4 p.m. on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

We will have Easter Sunrise Service at 6 a.m.

And traditional worship at 9 and 11 a.m. every Sunday until this crisis passes.

If any of you are aware of any persons that would benefit from the “personalness” of these ZOOM worships and you would personally recommend them, you may give them my phone number and/or email address and I will communicate with them and send them personal invitations to any of our services: judy.jones59@gmail.com or 508-517-3063.
