GREENFIELD — Greenfield High School Principal Karin Patenaude has scheduled her third meet-and-greet of the school year to connect with parents and guardians, this time at Greenfield Games, 238 Main St.

Patenaude’s meet-and-greet will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.

Her goal is to provide opportunities for parents and guardians who may be hesitant to reach out to her or other school staff, according to a press release about the event. Patenaude hopes those parents and guardians may be comfortable meeting her outside of school.

“Games are a great way to connect families and kids,” she said.

Parents and guardians can come with or without their children, and no gaming experience is required. Snacks will be provided.

Patenaude’s ideas for future meet-and-greet locations include local coffee shops, housing complexes, the Community Health Center of Franklin County and the Greenfield Public Library. To share an idea for a date/time/place for a future meet-and-greet, email Patenaude at karpat1@gpsk12.org.
