There is a Franklin County Babe Ruth pre-registration meeting on Monday.
The meeting is at 6 p.m. at the St. Kazimierz Society in Turners Falls. Agenda items include plans for registrations at Frontier, Pioneer, Turners Falls high schools and Greenfield Middle School locations.
Parents as well as those interested in coaching this season are asked to attend. The league welcomes all returning players as well as those who have aged out of Babe Ruth’s Cal Ripken programs.

Josh Wood scored 25 points to lead Pioneer in a 61-49 win over Ludlow in the NCAA bracket of the boys 7/8 grade suburban basketball tournament at Pioneer Regional High School on Friday.
Brayden Thayer added 12 points with Gavin Gammell and Kurt Redeker each adding nine points. Pioneer advanced to play top-seeded Easthampton on Monday night.
