Dodgeball: The Greenfield Recreation Department announced a new program series for fifth- to seventh-graders titled “Rec the Night,” beginning March 13. This new series will feature a special tween-centric activity each month from a Gaga ball tournament to tie-dye and everything in between. The debut event on March 13 will be a dodgeball tournament at the Greenfield Middle School from 6 to 7:30 p.m. All participants must complete a registration form. Sign up once for access to the entire series of events. Registration is free.

April Vacation Week: Sign up for a fun-filled week of activities, games and outdoor fun for children in kindergarten through seventh grade. This program is held at the Youth Center, 20 Sanderson St. Tuesday, April 21 through Friday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with early care available from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and late care from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Walking field trips to Beacon Field and Federal Street School playgrounds. Lunch, afternoon snack and drink must be sent with child. Morning snack provided. Registration deadline is April 7. $120 for residents, $130 for non-residents.
