Five years ago I developed a chronic illness that changed my life. There is no cure for my disease, not yet, and most treatment is not covered by insurance. Elizabeth Warren has had my back from the beginning. And I know she has the courage and the dedication to combat the insurance companies and to continue to fight for people like me.
When the advocacy organization for people with my disease asked U.S. senators to vote for more funding for research, Warren immediately supported the bill. Now, when I hear her talk about making sure people like me have health insurance and affordable access to the drugs we need, I believe her. Many candidates have good policies, but Warren has something more: actual plans to get things done.
I believe Elizabeth Warren cares about people like me, and she is the only candidate with the knowledge, the compassion, the dedication, and the detailed, step-by-step plans to help people across this country. I trust her with my future.
