I just finished reading your article about Sheri Koones’ new book, “Downsizing: Living Large in Small House,” in your spring Builder insert. As an aging boomer in the process of downsizing I found it very interesting. Even more interesting is the invitation I just received to Pioneer Habitat for Humanity’s forum about their “Big Enough” program at which Sheri Koones herself will be the keynote speaker!

The invite says the event is open to the public. It will be at GCC, in the Dining Commons, on Friday, March 27, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (breakfast included). With accessory dwellings, infill zoning, and smaller environmental footprints on everyone’s mind these days, smaller dwellings have become a top priority.

I’m looking forward to hearing Ms. Koones’ presentation and the community discussions that arise from that. Thanks for preparing me with your timely article.
