Andy Castillo is the best thing to happen to the Recorder since Paul Franz. We loved the New Year’s spoof of the police log and the accompanying art. Also love the drawings of writers that now pepper the newspaper. Oh and Nan Parati, the transplanted writer from New Orleans to Ashfield, is also hilarious and I get excited when I see her photo at the bottom of the front half.
A local newspaper is such an important part of our town/city and we are so grateful to still have The Recorder.
Let’s just head off the folks who will complain that you offended someone. As a comedienne, I can tell you, it’s tough to be funny out here! Keep up the great work.
