The Mohawk Trail girls track & field team swept three meets in PVIAC indoor track competition on Friday night at Smith College in Northampton.
The Warriors beat Baystate Academy (83-8), Mahar Regional (55-38) and Pioneer Valley Regional (68-26) during PVIAC Meet No. 3 action.
Serena Bardwell placed sixth overall among the field in the 55-meter dash. Bardwell blazed through the 300-meter event with a fifth-place finish (48.60) .
Sierra Upton was the top finisher among the Franklin County competitors in the 600-meter run, placing 11th (2:05.31).
Erica Szewczyk placed third in the mile (6:06.24) and took seventh (3:41.77) in the 1,000-meter run.

Mohawk 55, Mahar 38 — The Senators girls team split on Friday, with a win over Pioneer Valley Regional to go with the loss to Mohawk.
Carra Fitzgerald continued her dominance of distance events with two first-place finishes in the 1,000-meter run (3:19.76) and the two-mile (11:50.90).
Fitzgerald set two new school records in both events. She had held the two-mile record previously, and set the new mark in the 1,000 by five seconds for the Senators.
Aileen Fitzgerald topped Franklin County in the high jump, placing 11th overall (4-3).
Madison Harrington finished fifth (26-7½) in the shot put for the Senators. Teammate Quincey Drew placed ninth (25-7½).

Mohawk 68, Pioneer 26 — The Panthers picked up their lone win of the night against Hampden Charter.
Laila Heilman impressed in the long jump for the Panthers with a fourth overall finish (14-3½) along with a 12th (4-1) in the high jump.
Heilman grabbed a 10th place finish (3:46.09) in the 1,000.
Sahana Helman placed 14th (6:38.97) for the Panthers in the mile. Samantha Baldwin was ninth (13:59.70) in the two-mile run.
Athol 35, Sci-Tech 19 — The performances by Grace Dufour and Rashelly Dalmau-Gonzalez boosted the Red Raiders to a victory over the Cybercats.
Dufour was 14th overall (8.31) in the 55-meter dash, seventh (3:49.28) in the 1,000 and 15th in the long jump (13-5).
Dalmau-Gonzalez placed fourth overall (27-10¼) in the shot put.
Southwick 59, Greenfield 32 – The Wave couldn’t keep up with the Rams in the loss.
The Wave got a solid performance in distance events from Eva Heath, Emma Savoy and Kandice Lu.
Heath placed sixth (6:49.73) in the mile while Lu finished fifth (13:58.70) in the two-mile.
Savoy was ninth overall (3:51.18) in the 1,000. Shane Subeldia added an 11th in the 600.
Kacia Kinsmith jumped her way to third in the high jump.

Mohawk 50, Pioneer 39 – Behind strong performances from Cullen Brown and Dennis Simmons, the Warriors swept three meets on Friday.
Brown placed ninth overall in the 55-meter dash and fourth (1:31.91) in the 600.
Brown added a fifth (19-1½) overall finish in the long jump.
Simmons was seventh (3:01.50) in the 1,000 and third (4:51.78) in the mile.

Mahar 41, Pioneer 39 — The Panthers grabbed their lone victory of the night against the Wolves, but fared well in tight losses to Mohawk and Mahar.
Owen Deane took 11th (41.53) in the 300-meter dash while Noah deRuiter placed 14th (11:52.37) in the two-mile.
Cam Dresser finished 19th in the shot put (26-1).

Ludlow 65, Mahar 22 — Liam O’Donnell’s performances in distance events helped the Senators edge the Panthers in their lone win of the evening.
O’Donnell was 10th (3:07.16) in the 1,000 and sixth (11:18.42) in the two-mile.
Athol 70, Sci-Tech 15 – The Red Raiders trounced the Cybercats behind some quick runs from Anthony Marcucci.
Marcucci was sixth (3:10.14) in the 1,000 and fifth (5:08.44) in the mile.
Logan Wing placed fifth overall (36-3¼) in the shot put while Keegan Lutz finished 12th (41.97) in the 300.
Greenfield 65, Southwick 20 – Liviu Mihailicenco paced the Green Wave in their win over the Rams.
Mihailicenco placed first overall (8.68) in the 55-meter hurdles, fourth (5-3) in the high jump and seventh in the 600 (1:44.31).
Miles Ferreira sprinted his way to sixth overall in the 300-meter dash (40.32).
In the 1,000, Alex Bacigalupo placed eighth for the Wave. Erick Badillo added a ninth-place finish in the two-mile (11:40.81).
