Jenna Bonenfant scored 11 points, pulled down three rebounds and snagged five steals to lead the Athol-Royalston Middle School girls basketball team over Greenfield, 35-27, on Friday in Athol.
Sammy Mailloux and Anna Duquette each had six points in the win.
Maggie Provencal led Greenfield by scoring 13 points. Anna Bucala scored seven points while Caitlyn Davenport added four points in the loss.
• Jumping out to a 32-9 halftime lead, the Mahar Middle School boys basketball team rolled to a 52-17 win over Hopkins on Friday.
Owen Carl led the way with 17 points and Will Barnes added 14 points.
Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley
Colleen Barrows had a stellar outing in the Thursday Night League at the Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley, rolling the women’s single high score of 115 and women’s high triple score of 322.
Buzz Palmer finished with the men’s single high score of 128 while Ray Dodge rolled the men’s triple high score of 347.
