NEW SALEM — Police are asking the public for help after someone illegally dumped tires off of three town roads.
According to a post on the New Salem Police Department’s Facebook page, more than 30 used tires were illegally dumped off West Main Street, West Street and Blackinton Road. The dumping on West Street happened on Dec. 23, between 4 and 8:30 p.m.
According to the post, the tires are a mix of car, truck and ATV tires.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police, either by messaging the New Salem Police Department on Facebook, calling dispatch at 978-544-2141 or by mailing information to P.O. Box 66, New Salem, MA 01355.
