Custodian hired for town buildings

LEYDEN — The Selectboard interviewed and hired Marissa LaChance for custodial work at Pearl Rhodes Elementary School and Town Hall during its meeting Monday.

LaChance will work approximately six hours per week at rate of $15 an hour. Due to the fact that she is the granddaughter of Selectboard member Lance Fritz, he abstained from the discussion and decision of her hiring.
