If one contacted Congress and asked to have a large air terminal built in his town, it would be treated as a stupid request. However, the United States has spent billions in foreign countries to build air terminals and more in the Far East. In each case, war was included costing thousands of American lives.

Congress convinced the American public that each war since World War II was necessary. The US was involved in the war in Vietnam for 12 years, costing unreported billions and 58,000 American lives. Absolutely nothing beneficial was accomplished.

Yet, one war after another continues to be generated and the public seems to approve. Why does this horrendous expenditure continue?

The answer is quite simple because strange things happen with money the primary reason. Large American companies make billions in profit from each war even though thousands of Americans lose their lives.

In my opinion, it is a sad state of affairs and should have been stopped after the Korean War in 1950.
