Public hearing Dec. 5 on cable service

CONWAY — Residents concerned about the quality of their cable service are invited to attend a public hearing Thursday, Dec. 5.

The Conway Selectboard and Cable Advisory Committee are hosting the hearing, which is part of the town’s efforts to sign a new 10-year cable access franchise agreement with Comcast.

“This hearing is the only chance the public will have to provide feedback to Comcast as part of this process,” Conway Selectboard member and Frontier Community Access Television Board of Directors President Robert Armstrong said. “Anyone with thoughts on our cable service and how it could be improved are encouraged to attend.”

The hearing begins at 7 p.m. at the Conway Grammar School.
