The American Red Cross is seeking nominations for next year’s Heroes Breakfast, held to honor the selfless and humanitarian acts of citizens in Western Massachusetts.
According to a Red Cross press release, the organization wants to honor those who are enriching and transforming lives — be it through an heroic act that saved a life or through the donation of years of service to the public. At the breakfast, the Red Cross will showcase how local heroes change lives.
The categories include lifesaving, professional, armed forces, community service or youth. Nominations can be completed online at redcross.org/westernmaheroes. The nomination deadline is Dec. 31.
The annual Heroes Breakfast will be held April 9, 2020 at the MGM Springfield.
