NORTHFIELD — The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing about a special permit extension for Park Avenue Solar Solutions.
The hearing will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
Park Avenue Solar Solutions has requested a one-year extension to its special permit for the construction, operation and maintenance of a 4.5-megawatt ground-mounted commercial solar facility at 0 Mount Hermon Station Road (Parcel 25 A1 on the town assessors’ map).
BERNARDSTON — Sen. Jo Comerford, D-Northampton, will visit Cushman Library on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. as part of her People’s Office Library Tour.
NORTHFIELD — Naturalist Kim Noyes will present a program on feeding winter birds at the Dickinson Memorial Library on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Her presentation, organized by the Northfield Bird Club, will discuss which foods are best for which birds, where to buy seeds, how to identify bird species and more. The program is most appropriate for adults and teens, although children ages 8 and older are welcome.
