Landlord Rights and Responsibilities Workshop: On Monday at 6 p.m., Greenfield’s Police, Health and Community Development departments will hold a two-hour free workshop on landlord rights and responsibilities at the John Zon Community Center, 35 Pleasant St. Designed for landlords, or anyone thinking about becoming a landlord, this workshop will feature a presentation by Way Finders landlord specialist John Fisher, followed by a Q&A session with city staff. This is the first in a series of quarterly workshops focusing on improving rental housing in Greenfield. Supported with funding from the Community Development Block Grant program.

She will present little-known facts and lore about the beloved local restaurant, its founders and their influence on Massachusetts. Slate was a consultant on the Friendly ice cream exhibit at the Museum of Springfield History, and helped to edit the autobiography of Friendly’s founder S. Prestley Blake. Open to the public.
