You can have it both ways. Ignorance and stupidity by — definition — are two separate terms. Ignorance (unawareness of something, often of something important). Stupidity — (lack of aptitude, perception, or common sense; extremely rash or thoughtless behavior). Typically — as a combination — these terms should not be applicable to anyone that most folks would hope to be void of both. However, the more I listen to, and try to make sense of a person in the most powerful position in the U.S. government, I do believe that person justly qualifies for the ultra-rare combined title of ignorant and stupid.
