With laser focus and prioritization, Brickett Allis will lead Greenfield in a new direction towards greater prosperity, success and sustainability as its new mayor.
Doing the right thing and making the tough decisions is not always popular, but rest assured, Brickett will place the needs of the people of the City of Greenfield above all else.
Brickett has a plan to stabilize the tax burden to our taxpayers by placing the focus on the fundamental needs of the community; public safety, education and infrastructure to name a few. He will capitalize on non property tax revenue generation through adaptation of some of the city’s existing services and the creation of revenue positive services. These benefits will actually make more than they cost to provide.
For the last 19 years, Brickett reviewed and studied the budget line by line. He voted to reduce line items when he felt there was an excess that was unnecessary or simply not justified. Determining the necessity for modifying the budget is the most important duty the council is tasked with. Some who have never been elected to the council have called this “being negative,” however, the reality is that exercising this important duty is a vital and integral part of the process of checks and balances and government accountability in Greenfield, and one that Brickett will continue to take seriously as mayor.
On Nov. 5, write in Brickett Allis, 300 Wells St., and fill in the corresponding circle. It just makes sense.
