I’m supporting RoxannWedegartner for mayor of Greenfield because she has held and acted upon progressive values her whole life, and she has both the experience and the stamina necessary to successfully steer our town.
Wedegartner chaired the sustainable master plan committee. She supports the creative economy that makes our town a unique attraction. She will work to lessen sprawl by supporting zoning for mixed use and infill our underused and abandoned buildings. She would make the group formed to tackle homelessness a permanent entity and work with the FRTA to to increase transportation options through weekend and evening bus routes. She served on the School Committee, she served on Tapestry, and she supports reproductive freedom. She shows up, prepared and ready, over and over, and will do so as our next mayor.
