NORTHFIELD — On Sunday, Oct. 27, at 10 a.m., the Rev. Cynthia A. Frado will preach on “The Real Magic of Samhain” at First Parish Unitarian. She explains, “At the end of harvest time, we find ourselves between what has been and what may be. This Samhain celebration is a magical place to experience the oneness of all creation that transcends time and space. Here, the eternal spirits reveal the power and secret of life itself. In this realm, fearlessness reigns, clarity of vision is restored, death does not have the final word, and the love that never ends laughs and dances and eats way too much candy.” Religious education for children and youth will be available. All are welcome at the historic First Parish sanctuary on the corner of Parker Avenue and Main Street in Northfield.
