GREENFIELD — Write-in mayoral candidate Brickett Allis is holding a potluck gathering for all supporters and those interested in learning more about his platform.
“Meet, Greet and Eat” is a family-friendly event and will be held at the First Congregational Church, 43 Silver St., starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
“This is an opportunity for me to thank my many supporters for their continued time, energy, loyalty and hard work on this grassroots campaign,” Allis said. “I’m looking forward to enjoying an evening of sharing with one another.”
According to a press release about the event, there will be performances by local musicians and children’s activities. Attendees are asked to bring a favorite dish to share. Beverages will be provided.
Allis will also give an update on the campaign, explain the process of writing in a candidate on the Nov. 5 general election ballot, clarify the validity of a write-in vote, and answer any questions or concerns from attendees, the release states.
