BOXBOROUGH — The Turners Falls Municipal Airport showcased its new Western Star 4900XD truck at the recent Massachusetts Highway Association’s New England Public Works Expo in Boxborough.
According to a press statement, Turners Falls Municipal Airport purchased the truck — which is built to handle snow removal on the airport runway and grounds — from Advantage Truck Group in Westfield in June. The vendor then requested that the airport showcase the new vehicle at the expo, an event that highlights the region’s latest heavy equipment for construction, municipal and highway products and services.
