Thank you for your coverage of the Unit C negotiations at the School Committee meeting on Monday, Oct. 7. I would like to add to my comment quoted in the Oct. 9 edition of the paper. The IAs in Greenfield could indeed make more money if they worked full time at their second job but they remain in the school system because of the kids with whom they work. We talk a lot about salaries and finances, but the real focus for us and for the schools is the kids. Please remember the kids — they are why we do what we do.
