I want to tell you about a man I met in Shelburne years back. He was a Vietnam war vet. And he had Agent Orange. When I told him I served stateside, he gave me a hug and cried. I said I didn’t do nothing, and he said you held down our home while we were away.

He passed Agent Orange on to his daughter unknowingly and she died at 10. Well he was an alcoholic after that, and the VA wouldn’t give him his benefits because of it. At least that’s what he told me. In honor of his daughter he collected hundreds of National Geographic magazines. He made a big doll house out of them. It was an amazing structure, he showed it to me. One of the magazines had a picture of him and his creation on the cover.

Sorry to start your day off this way, but I decided long before the presidential election that I would never vote for someone who put down a Vietnam veteran publicly and I never will. If you guys want to support somebody who degrades our suffering veterans go right ahead. And no matter how much of a ding bat the Democrat is I’m gonna have to vote for them. And I won’t budge until he is gone.
