WENDELL — Schools, individuals and organizations looking for funding for activities in the arts, humanities and sciences can apply for grants from the Wendell Cultural Council.
Oct. 15 is the postmark deadline to apply.
“These grants can support a variety of projects and activities such as workshops, performances, children’s programs and field trips, presentations and exhibits,” said Cultural Council member Phyllis Lawrence.
The Wendell Cultural Council will distribute more than $4,800 this year through the grant program, with the goal of providing “diverse experiences reaching a wide range of audiences.”
Applications can be submitted online at the Massachusetts Culture Council website, mass-culture.org/lcc_public.aspx. There are also paper applications available at the Wendell Free Library, which should be sent to Lawrence at P.O. Box 81, Wendell, MA 01079 by Oct. 15.
