Amtrak is making booking a trip by train faster and easier with an update to its app.
According to an Amtrak press release, Version 4.0 of the app allows travelers to:
■Save information for up to three credit cards for quick checkout;
■Redeem Amtrak guest reward points for travel;
■View and edit profile information including contact information, payment options, discounts, coupons and vouchers;
■and purchase parking, where available.
“Every minute counts for our riders,” said Amtrak President and CEO Richard Anderson, “and the improvements Amtrak made to the app will help improve our customers’ experience while providing easy access to important travel information and station amenities.”
