The Senior Symposia will hold its first program of the semester — “Ultimate Frisbee/Ultimate Peace” by Linda and Robert Sidorsky — at Greenfield Community College on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. in Stinchfield Hall.
The Ultimate Peace Program in the Middle East brings Muslim, Jewish and Christian youth together to play on the field as well as off. The presentation will explore how the year-round program works, with the goal of spreading its values throughout the Middle East for its players, according to a press release about the event.
Linda Sidorsky, one of the co-founders of Ultimate Peace, is chief operating officer and director of operation. She oversees programming, evaluation and learning with Ultimate Peace.
Robert Sidorsky coached Ultimate Frisbee at Northfield Mount Hermon School for several years, co-founded the New England Private School League in 2001, and is currently helping Linda here and in the Middle East.
The cost of the program is $10. Advance registration is not necessary.
