Youth Soccer Registration: The Youth Soccer Program includes Squirt Soccer (for children in kindergarten to second grade; Montague residents — $30, non-residents — $35), Junior Travel Team (for grades three and four; Montague residents — $45, non-residents $50) and Senior Travel Team (for grades five and six; Montague residents — $55, non-residents — $60). All teams are co-ed; schedules vary.

Bluefish Swim Team: The Bluefish is a recreational/competitive swim team that has been around for more than 40 years. The team consists of groups according to ability, novice through advanced. Meets are Saturdays. Open to all area youth able to successfully complete an in-pool swim test. Fees vary. Call for rates or visit montaguebluefish.com. A multiple family member discount is available.

Night Skate: At Unity Skate Park on Saturday, Sept. 14, 6 to 10 p.m. The skate park will be illuminated for the final time this summer by light towers. Made possible by members of the Friends of Unity Skate Park, RiverCulture and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Scarecrow Stuffing Party: Saturday, Sept. 28, noon to 2 p.m., at Unity Park. $5 per scarecrow, or $3 if you bring your own clothes. Donations of long-sleeve shirts and pants are welcome. Drop them off at the office. Rain date: Sunday, Sept. 29.
