Eastspoke at Baystate is an important resource for the residents of Greenfield and the surrounding towns. I’ve seen it in action. I hope the officials at the Greenfield hospital will listen to their own health care professionals and continue this important service to the community — at the local level — instead of shipping patients, outpatient and otherwise, 20 miles away to a central facility because it’s a bit more economical to do so.
