Montague, June 19

6:52 a.m. — Male caller reporting Social Security scam call. Man did not provide personal information, but did withdraw money from the bank and buy cash cards as instructed. Man did not give money or cards to scam caller. Man was advised of U.S. Treasury’s phone number, and to speak to the bank about what happened when he brings money back.

4:25 p.m. — Caller reporting a woman in the Food City parking lot fell out of a dark blue Ford F-150 pickup truck and some nips fell out as well. Caller concerned the driver could be intoxicated, and reported that the female is parked sideways. Provided description of the vehicle and license plate. Woman was instructed not to drive; vehicle will be left in Food City’s parking lot.

5:39 p.m. — Caller reports a woman stumbling around in the road on Unity Street. Caller was concerned the woman is going to get hit. Woman was transported to the police station.

Greenfield, June 20

1:05 a.m. — Robert Williams, 66, of Solon Street was arrested for assault and battery, and strangulation/suffocation. Bail set at $2,000.
