MONROE — Voters in Massachusetts’ second smallest town will meet Monday to take up 31 articles mainly concerning municipal costs, but also acquiring a property and amending zoning bylaws.

The Annual Town Meeting is set for Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Hall.

The town will weigh in on an article to fund operating expenses for municipal departments totaling $322,780. In addition, voters will take up costs including $47,900 for salaries for elected and appointed officials, $32,000 to pay for road repairs and $20,000 for the Highway Department.

Voters will consider an article to fund Monroe’s share of operating expenses to the North Berkshire School Union, which are $278,574 in fiscal year 2020 — compared to this year’s $237,429. This will be followed by an item to supply $28,789 for the North Berkshire Vocational School District’s operating expenses, down from $47,293 this year.

Aside from expenses, townspeople will vote on an article to permit the Selectboard to acquire a property located at 1 and 3 Comai St., Monroe Bridge, owned by the heirs of Charles L. Morgan, to make it safe for the public.

Voters will also weigh in on an item to add an overlay to the town’s zoning bylaws called the “Establishments and Delineation of Surface Water Supply Protection District Bylaw.”

Other costs to be voted on include:

■$1,484 for Franklin Regional Council of Governments’s core assessment costs

■$2,041 for Franklin Regional Council of Governments’s health agent services

■$22,516 for Franklin Regional Retirement

■$312 for the Central Council District Department of Veteran’s Services

■$23,968 to pay for salaries for the Sewer Treatment Plant’s operator

■$35,000 to pay for Sewer Treatment Plant operation, maintenance and repair costs

■$347 to be part of the Northern Berkshire Solid Waste Management District

■$5,000 to maintain and upgrade office equipment

■$26,000 for the annual installment toward a John Deere tractor, after voters permitted its purchase last year

■$5,000 for building inspection fees

■$5,000 for plumbing inspection fees

■$5,000 for electrical inspection fees

■$47,081 for interest fees on bonds related to the United States Department of Agriculture’s wastewater disposal loan and grant program for rural communities
