It was stated that opioids have caused more deaths than “pot.”
Then how is it that you can’t smoke “pot” and drive on our roads?
As far as health affects, it was on C-Span the other day that there hasn’t been enough studies on long term use of “pot” on humans.
Nothing was said about our children getting their hands on it, and I also stated that I’ve seen first-hand effects it can have.
Why is it that these “pot” shops can’t be within 500 feet of children going to school or day care. The only one who is a winner in this pot shop movement is the state.
At $95,000 per permit plus tax money for towns and cities, the state is the big winner.
I propose that all the money the state collects should go into roads and bridges.
We have so many things so-called regulated that become crooked, what makes you think this scheme is safe?
I don’t want to drive on any road where “pot” is allowed.
What about second-hand smoke?
One day I was at a store and two guys got out of a car and they had e-cigarettes and one of them took a needle and injected something into one of these and the other guy took some puffs and by the time they got to the store the guy couldn’t stand up.
This is what I’m worried about, not statistics.
I welcome your view. That’s what these op-eds are for.
