Beating our biggest rival takes more than breakthrough research. It takes things like our 24/7 cancer help line (1-800-227-2345) and free rides to chemo. By joining the Relay fo Life movement in our community, we can all help the American Cancer Society attack cancer from every angle.

The Relay For Life movement unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have been touched by cancer, remember loved ones lost and take action for lifesaving change. At the Relay event, we walk 18 hours to symbolize the battle waged around the clock by those facing cancer.

This year, an estimated 1.3 million people in the U.S. will participate in more than 2,000 Relay For Life events. Funds raised help the American Cancer Society attack cancer in dozens of critical ways, from developing breakthrough therapies to building supportive communities to providing empowering resources to deploying activists to raise awareness.

Community volunteers are the backbone of this movement and you can be part of it right here in Franklin County through our local Relay For Life event, held this year on June 7 and 8 at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield. We would love to see people from every part of our community get involved.
