May 23 is Red Nose Day, a charity to help end childhood hunger and poverty. It’s been around since 2015, and began before that in England, funding programs that keep children healthy, safe and educated. It’s a great charity, as it involves helping children in the U.S. and around the world. You can purchase red noses from Walgreens at $2 a piece, and all proceeds go to Red Nose charities. You can also go to rednoseday.org for more information.
I myself will be promoting it in my own “social media” way by walking 100 miles with signs supporting Red Nose Day. If you happen to see me on my travels, please consider donating whatever you can — anything helps. Thank you so much. I’ll be walking between May 8 and May 23, mostly in the Franklin County area, perhaps 10 miles or so a day, with rain days figured in. I’ll also be spending time at the Greenfield Town Common with signs. If you’d like to join me either walking or on the Common, you can email me at williamstina643@gmail.com. Our kids are our future, so please come show your support. Thank you!
