BUCKLAND — Sixteen percent of the town’s voters cast a ballot in Monday’s annual election, or 199 of 1,259 registered residents.
All nine newly elected officials were incumbents.
In the town’s only race, incumbent Marti Taft-Ferguson won against newcomer Roma Estevez, 112 votes to 85, with two ballots left blank.
Marion Scott secured a three-year assessor seat with 177 votes.
George Dole won a three-year Buckland Public Library trustee seat with 184 votes.
Arthur Henry Phillips won a three-year town constable term with 179 votes.
Karen Blom secured a three-year Finance Committee seat with 174 votes. Paula Consolo won the other open three-year Finance Committee seat with 158 votes.
Jeffrey Purinton won a three-year tree warden term with 178 votes.
Phoebe Walker secured a three-year town moderator term with 175 votes.
Barry Del Castilho won a three-year Selectboard seat with 174 votes.
The Annual Town Meeting is slated for Wednesday, 7 p.m. at Mohawk Trail Regional School’s auditorium.
