ASHFIELD — Roughly 9 percent of eligible townspeople cast a ballot in Saturday’s election — 123 of 1,359 of registered voters.
The sole ballot question — to permit the Selectboard act as the Municipal Light Plant Board — was approved, with 108 votes in support, six against and nine left blank.
The School Committee seat remained vacant, receiving 16 write-in nominations. The Town Clerk will contact write-in candidates this week to gauge their interest in filling the position.
Stewart Eisenberg won a one-year town moderator position with 116 votes and seven left blank.
Thomas Poissant won a one-year tree warden position with 103 votes and 15 left blank.
Tom Carter secured a three-year Selectboard seat with 118 votes and five left blank.
Faye Whitney-Lussier won a three-year Board of Assessors seat with 119 votes and four left blank.
Melinda Gougeon won a three-year Finance Committee seat with 111 votes and 12 left blank.
George Stephan won a three-year Finance Committee seat with 95 votes and 28 left blank.
Karen Lavallee won a three-year Board of Health seat with 114 votes and nine left blank.
Elizabeth Lesure won a three-year town constable term with 118 votes and five left blank.
Judith Haupt won a three-year Parks Commission seat with 120 votes and three left blank.
Robert Cherdack won a five-year Planning Board seat with 110 votes and 13 left blank.
Sage Franetovich won a five-year library trustee seat with 112 votes and 11 left blank.
Daniel Lovett won a three-year Sewer Commission seat with 114 votes and nine left blank.
