MacKenzie Paulin chucked a complete-game shutout, striking out 14 batters, walking none, and scattering three hits as Camelot Carpet Cleaners defeated Pipione’s Sport Shop 12-0, in a Greenfield Girls Softball League game Saturday at Murphy Park in Greenfield.
Camelot pounded out 12 hits led by Rachel Wood who had three hits and three RBIs, and Kelly Baird who picked up three hits and two RBIs. Paulin finished with a pair of doubles and an RBI,Taylor Menard had two hits and two RBIs, Amelia Pierce had a hit and an RBI, and Kaia Livingstone singled.
Margarette Howland went the distance in the circle for Pipione’s, striking out eight. Offensively, Eva Ferreira had two hits, and Howland hit a double.
• Meanwhile, Paulin struck out 18 in a six-inning, one-hitter to lead Camelot to a doubleheader sweep on Saturday with a 8-1 win over Descavich.
Paulin ropped a two-run home run in the victory and also had an RBI triple. Menard finished a home run shy of hitting for the cycle and drove in two runs, and Amelia Pierce doubled, singled and plated a run. Rachel Wood doubled and singled, Kelly Baird had two hits and one RBI, and Anya Livingstone singled and drove in a run.
Lilly Ross struck out nine in the loss. Carly Blanchard belted a triple, and Addie Rotkiewicz had an RBI.
• Also Saturday, Anna Bucala struck out six in the circle to lead Pipione’s past Freedom Credit Union, 13-8.
Shelby O’Leary had two hits and three RBIs in the win, and Ferreira had a hit and two runs batted in. Howland, Aquinnah Mass and Mackenzie Clark each had one hit and one RBI. Shayla Freeland and Kylee Gamache each drove in two runs.
Skylei Lapan went the route for FCU, striking out six. Ava Fortin led the offense with a hit and two RBIs.
• In other action, Addie Rotkiewicz belted a home run to power Descavich past Freedom Credit Union, 12-9.
Gianna DiSciullo, Lilly Ross and Rotkiewicz each pitched well in the win. Carly Blanchard doubled twice, and DiSciullo had one double.
Emma Nash, Ava Fortin and Cayleigh Aldrich each had one hit for FCU. Madison Dietz pitched well

Rylin Koscinski had a pair of doubles on Saturday to help Sandri Plumbing to a 12-4 win over Freedom Credit Union in a Greenfield Minor League AAA Division baseball game at Lunt Field in Greenfield.
Jacoby Stumpo and Xavier Lackey each had two hits and two RBIs in the win, and Hayden Girard struck out four hitters over three innings.
Chase Zraunig smacked an inside-the-park home run for FCU, and Austin Drowski had a pair of hits.
• Meanwhile, Malik Moore went 2-for-4 as Smitty’s Pub edged Aubuchon Hardware, 14-12.
Jonathon Ainsworth, Kooper Leger and George Gutierrez Jr. each had two hits in the win, while Evan Tsipenyuk and Osiah Ballard added one double apiece.
David Knox went 2-for-2 in the loss, and Brody Welcome, NicoSiano, Wade Bardwell and Nick Prasol each had one hit.
• In AA Division play, Aaron Meuse and Jorden Welcome each pitched one strong inning to help Berkshire Insurance to a 8-5 win over Bobby C’s DJ Service.
Tommy Clary, Topher Miller and Welcome each had two hits in the win, and Lexi Sanieski played well defensively at first base.
Camden Page started for Bobby C’s and pitched well in the loss. Lucas Allenby set down the side in order in his lone inning on the mound.
• In Major Division action, Hugh Cyhowski struck out eight and walked only one in six innings as Gilmore & Farrell Insurance beat New Fortune, 6-3.
Cyhowski also hit an RBI double and scored a run in the win. Sovann Noeun singled, reached base two other times and drove in a run, while Jackson Campbell had six stolen bases, including a straight steal of home, and scored twice. Erik Martineau also stole two bases and scored once.
Jackson Petrin, Heath Gomez and Braeden Tsipenyuk combined to strike out nine in the loss. Tsipenyuk blasted a two-run home run, while Ethan Quinn, Jayden Hunter, Caleb Johnston and Gabe Tomasi each had one hit.
Mohawk Youth
Cole Cross went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs to help the Buckland/Shelburne Braves to a 10-6 win over the Buckland/Shelburne Padres in a Mohawk Youth League Minor Division baseball game over the weekend.
Jack Cusson struck out eight to earn the victory, while Dakota Cusimano went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored.
Dustin Reade struck out two in two innings of one-run pitching for the Padres. Cody Dubreuil and Colton Kingsbury each went 2-for-3 at the dish. The Padres also turned three doubles plays on the day.
• In Major Division action, Hanna Phillips pitched four strong innings to lead Charlemont past Ashfield, 2-0.
Ole Brenizer and Makayla Tatro each pitched one inning to complete the shutout for Charlemont.
Logan Moore pitched four solid innings for Ashfield, and Sam Thompson threw a pair of strong innings.
Newt Guilbault
Mason Lehtomaki threw a complete-game one-hitter with 13 strikeouts to lead Greenfield Savings Bank to a 16-1 win over Booska’s Flooring in a Newt Guilbault Community League baseball game Saturday at Gamelin Field in Turners Falls.
Lehtomaki helped himself out with a pair of doubles on the day, and Ethan Eichorn went 3-for-4 at the plate. Jake Jurek had a pair of doubles, and Nathaniel Trinque had one hit.
Max Brunette had the lone hit and RBI for Booska’s.
• In other action, Alex Knapp, Sammy Studlien and Matt Field combined to strike out 10 as Turners Falls Athletic Club bested St. Kazimierz Society, 6-5, Saturday at Campbell Field.
Elijah Sullivan-Paulino hit an RBI double in the victory, and Knapp and Field each had two hits and one RBI. Brody Girard had a pair of singles, and Studlien had one hit.
Julian Kaiser struck out 10 in the loss. Kainen Stevens doubled, singled and drove in a pair of runs, and Jackson Day had two hits. Jayden Sanchez hit an RBI single, while Kaiser and Jackson Cogswell each had one hit.
TFAC and GSB will face off for first place tonight at 5:30.
