ORANGE — A woman from Orange became the second winner of the $4 million prize from the “Diamond 9s” lottery.
Samantha Jean purchased the winning Massachusetts State Lottery ticket at Weatherheads Convenience Store, 63 French King Highway in Erving, according to Mass Lottery.
Jean decided to take the one-time payment of $2,600,000 — accounting for taxes — and said she plans on using her winnings to purchase a home.
For its sale of the lottery ticket, Weatherheads Convenience store is receiving a $40,000 bonus.
Moje Nominee Trust in Hanover previously won the $4 million prize in February.
According to Mass Lottery, there are still two $4 million dollar prizes and six $1 million prizes from the “Diamond 9s” $10 game floating around.
