Greenfield, April 21

10:45 a.m. – Caller at 54 Main St. an extinguished motor vehicle on fire. Fire Department notified. Officer dispatched.

11:43 a.m. – Caller reports a check for $900 cashed. Caller reports a check drawn on her checking account that was not written by her. After viewing the check online, it was found that it appears to be a clerical error made by the bank. Name and account numbers on the check were not a match for her account. Caller was advised.

12:25 p.m. – Subject who has been drinking at home was concerned that his daughter was going to come to his home and “do a warrant of apprehension” on him. He was advised that this procedure is done only during court hours. He was alert and not disoriented — no other issues other than his concern with his daughter.

1:19 p.m. – Reporting party reports loose tan terrier-type dog, with long hair and wearing a diaper (no collar or tags), chasing other dogs in the neighborhood. Dog returned to 32 Devens St.

Montague, April 21

9:40 a.m. – Reporting party came into the station to report the rebar was showing on the General Pearce Bridge. Massachusetts Department of Transportation was advised. Turners Falls Fire Department, Greenfield Dispatch and AMR Ambulance also advised. Montague Officer Justin Moody advised there were three to four patches that have come off and need to be repaired.

9:43 a.m. – Reporting party advises dryer caused smoke in basement of home on Union Street. Dryer is unplugged, no visible flames. Shelburne Control contacted and Montague Center Volunteer Fire Department is being toned. Montague Officer Justin Moody advised fire department is venting the house.
