‘Passover For All People’ set for Monday at Hawks & Reed

GREENFIELD — Games, songs, food, discourse and the ultimate scavenger hunt are part of a celebration of rebirth and redemption in the on-going journey of freedom for all. Bishop Rozanski to celebrate Divine Mercy service on April 28

GREENFIELD — The Franklin County Deanery will sponsor a Divine Mercy Celebration at Blessed Sacrament Church, 221 Federal St., on Sunday, April 28. The service will include Benediction, Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Novena Prayer. Bishop Mitchell Rozanski will be the Celebrant and will preach. Confessions will be available from 1:45 to 3 p.m. The celebration will begin at 3 p.m.

The Rev. Goheen is special guest April 28 at First Universalist Church

ORANGE — The Rev. Keith Goheen will be returning to lead worship and to “report back” to his former congregation on Sunday, April 28, at the First Universalist Church, where he was ordained in 1999. Rev. Goheen serves as hospital chaplain at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del., and is board-certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains. He and his spouse, Margaret, live in Rehoboth Beach, Del. The theme of the morning’s service will be “Heaven’s Gate.” The church is at 31 North Main St., and the service begins at 10 a.m., followed by fellowship with coffee and light refreshments.

Local gospel quartet 4D1G to perform in Goshen April 28

GOSHEN — The gospel quartet known as 4D1G Ministries will perform on Sunday, April 28, at 3 p.m., at the Goshen Congregational Church, 45 Main St. Come sing your favorite hymns and enjoy music by the quartet and Dennis Ainsworth on piano. Petersham Unitarian to host Earth Day ‘Teach-in’ April 28

PETERSHAM — At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 28, Petersham Unitarian will host an interactive “Teach-in” under a big blue tent. “An Earthday Perspective” will feature ritualist, Katjz Esser; local farmer Jess Cherry; Nipmuk Tribal member Fred Freeman; student, Anthony Brogno; and Larry Buell, professor and program moderator. Healthcare film and panel set for April 30 at Ashfield church

ASHFIELD — The Hilltown Hub of Western Mass Medicare for All is sponsoring a free showing of the documentay film, “Fix-It: Healthcare at the Tipping Point,” on Tuesday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the United Congregational Church of Ashfield. Following the film, there will be a Q&A session with a panel of local physicians and a social worker to discuss questions related to the implementation of a single-payer healthcare financing system.
