Tim Eriksen, who is acclaimed for transforming American tradition with his interpretations of old ballads, love songs, shape-note gospel and dance tunes, will perform at Ashfield Community Hall, 521 Main St. in Ashfield, on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The former frontman of Cordelia’s Dad (folk-noise), Northampton Harmony (shape-note quartet) and Zabe i Babe (Bosnian folk and pop), Eriksen has shared the stage with both Kurt Cobain and Doc Watson.
