Greenfield, March 25

1:35 p.m. – Caller reports his ex-girlfriend is telling the Bernardston Police Department that he was in Bernardston causing trouble. Reporting party advised he needed to speak with Bernardston police. Reporting party given the Bernardston department’s phone numbers.

4:17 p.m. – Walk-in states her 15-year-old son never came home from school and this is the third time this has happened. Gave address of friend he might be with. Police spoke with friend’s mother at the address and she said the teenagers ran off together. BOLO put out to Greenfield officers and eventually to the Montague Police Department and Shelburne Control. Teenagers found by Orange Police pushing shopping carts down the middle of the road.

Montague, March 25

5:38 p.m. – Multiple calls reporting three-vehicle accident with injuries on Millers Falls Road. Heavy vehicle damage, possible smoke and fluids coming out of vehicles. No reports of entrapment. Turners Falls Ambulance 1 of the Turners Falls Fire Department transported two people with injuries; AMR ambulance transported another. Rau’s requested for two tows.

Greenfield, March 26

5:14 p.m. – Someone was caught watching pornography on a staff computer at Poet’s Seat Health Care Center. Reporting party was advised of possible trespass options. No criminal activity. The subject is the son of a resident of the facility.

9:05 p.m. – Report of people throwing eggs at cars near Greenfield Energy Park. Police unable to locate.

Montague, March 26

7:10 a.m. – Caller reports a hit-and-run on behalf of one of his drivers. Black Nissan Titan rear-ended a company truck and left the scene. Unknown license plate. Sgt. Joshua Hoffman advised suspect vehicle would be leaking fluids due to damaged radiator. Detective Peter Lapachinski checked JP Tire & Auto and Officer Jacob Lapean checked Rubin’s Auto Service, but neither business had had contact with that type of vehicle. No apparent damage to victim vehicle. Driver will continue his route. Hoffman followed a fluid trail to the area of the Water Pollution Control Facility on Greenfield Road.

Greenfield, March 27

2:04 a.m. – Caller reports accident with no injuries on Lovers Lane. Airbag deployed. No fluids leaking. AMR ambulance on scene. Gray 2011 Subaru Legacy hit a concrete barrier after the operator tried to avoid hitting a deer. Operator cited for speed greater than reasonable.

2:51 p.m. – Caller reports hit-and-run at the Dollar General at 369 Federal St. Reporting party, who witnessed a black Chevrolet single-cab pickup truck strike an unoccupied parked vehicle, went into the store to find the owner of the struck vehicle and the suspect vehicle left the scene. Suspect vehicle should have front-end damage. Parked vehicle owner reported minor damage.

Montague, March 27

10:10 a.m. – Caller reports graffiti on the bicycle path under the bridge, a little further up from the fish ladder. Caller reports the graffiti reads, “No Nazis.” Officer Justin Moody found the graffiti and said there is a large amount of other graffiti as well. Graffiti is on the wall of the bridge buttress, which is MassDOT jurisdiction. MassDOT contacted directly.

2:32 p.m. – Report of four to six horses loose in the road in the area of 382 Turners Falls Road and numerous people trying to corral them. Upon arrival by the police, the horses had been corralled and the roadway was clear.

4:33 p.m. – Reporting parties report that 30 minutes prior a male was walking around the closed Roberto’s Pizzeria at 196 Turners Falls Road, looking in the windows and trying the doors. When approached, the male said he was looking to buy a table and wanted to know who the owner is. A woman advised that she is the owner but they are not selling anything. The male then reportedly walked to the neighbor’s house and asked who the owner is, then walked back over to the closed restaurant and walked around the building again.
