A brush fire occurred at 95 Turnpike Road on Wednesday afternoon. Turners Fall Fire Department Deputy Chief Leon Ambo said the property owner was burning brush, which he had a permit for, and embers were blown off of the fire. The fire spread through the yard and burned some of the low-hanging pine tree branches. There was no property damage from the fire or any injuries reported.
